Like many of her clients, Karen Keating is a high achiever. She has been a competitive athlete, and is familiar with hard work, discipline and setting high goals. She is a natural leader who knows the market and listens to the needs of her clients . For her entire professional career, she’s been a top performing salesperson, whether she was selling to corporate clients in New York or London with Oracle Corporation or selling real estate in Park City.
A native of New York, Karen has been skiing since she was two. She attended the Stratton Mountain School in Vermont, raced for the Cornell University Ski Team and coached ski racers at Vail. Her love of sports and the outdoors inspired her to move to a ski town. She’s comfortable tramping through vacant homesites in Wellies before switching to stilettos and meeting you for drinks.
She graduated from Cornell in 1988 with a degree in business management and marketing and spent most of her career as a top-performing strategic account manager for Oracle, first in New York and then in London. Her international experience, marketing prowess and sales skills easily transferred into real estate. Since she moved to Park City from London in 2004, Karen has focused on ski and golf properties and is located at the Silver Lake office at Deer Valley Resort. A member of Talisker Club as well as Home House in London, Karen understands the needs and tastes of the discriminating client. Resort Real Estate is a perfect match for her passion of skiing and selling.
Karen is married to Daniel Keating, a former English rugby player. They are raising their two young children, both budding ski racers in Park City. Karen recently returned to competitive skiing as a member of Park City Master’s Race Program.

A native of California, Christine grew up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. After graduating from the University of the Pacific, Christine started her business career in San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, she and her banker husband moved overseas and spent the next twenty years living in six different countries while raising three children. During these years Christine kept active managing the needs of her family, and with volunteer work and part-time business activities. One of her favorite work experiences overseas was her role as an international sales representative in Tokyo for iconic Pan Am World Airways.
Upon her arrival in Park City in 1996, Christine was initially affiliated with Coldwell Banker and subsequently represented Deer Crest Estates in the sale of development lots. In 2000, Christine joined the historic United Park City Mines Company which owned substantial development acreage in Park City including the now prestigious Empire Pass area of Deer Valley. Christine worked closely with Company management on master project design, marketing and the sale of lots for the future development of Empire Pass.
Following the sale of United Park City Mines Company, Christine joined Summit Sotheby’s International Realty (formerly Lewis Wolcott & Dornbush) where she continues to be a top performing Associate Broker.
Christine’s global perspective and business affiliations compliment Sotheby’s international real estate philosophy. She serves on the International Committee of the Park City Board of Realtors and enthusiastically spearheaded Sotheby’s international outreach program by promoting Park City and Deer Valley development projects at events in London and Hong Kong. Christine maintains her international profile by regularly participating in real estate events at Sotheby’s Auction houses worldwide. She has a particularly close association with the Sotheby’s franchise in London.
Christine has developed an extensive background in all aspects of the Park City and Deer Valley real estate market. She is an attentive and responsive listener who takes great pride in finding the optimal property for her discriminating clients.
